The EU4ClimateResilience project supported an educational training in Lviv, where young people and mentors explored new formats of environmental learning.
The core of the programme was the “Ecotopia” board game, developed with project support to build environmental awareness and negotiation skills. During the game, participants created eco-projects for a shared building, practiced decision-making and learned about sustainable solutions at the community level.

The training also included expert lectures, facilitation workshops and field visits to successful environmental initiatives in Lviv. Participants worked with real cases, learned to resolve conflicting interests and developed joint action plans.
By the end of the training, most participants expressed readiness to conduct their own Ecotopia sessions and initiate ecological projects in their communities. The training helped form an emerging network of young facilitators capable of scaling sustainable practices at the local level.
