Clean Ener­gy Tran­si­tions Pro­gramme (CETP) is IEA’s flag­ship pro­gramme for tak­ing action to achieve a clean ener­gy trans­for­ma­tion world­wide. By help­ing coun­tries around the world, par­tic­u­lar­ly in emerg­ing and devel­op­ing economies, make the right choic­es for their ener­gy future, it seeks to ensure a secure, sus­tain­able ener­gy future for all. Activ­i­ties include data and ana­lyt­i­cal work, tech­ni­cal coop­er­a­tion, pol­i­cy advice and imple­men­ta­tion, track­ing the scale and speed of tran­si­tions, train­ing and capac­i­ty build­ing, and strategic/political dia­logues. Work is deliv­ered across three key pil­lars, accel­er­at­ing Nation­al and Region­al tran­si­tions, sup­port­ing out­comes of key glob­al fora and shap­ing the glob­al dia­logue on issues of com­mon inter­est and impor­tance. The life of the CETP has coin­cid­ed with pos­si­bly the most impact­ful and suc­cess­ful peri­od in the IEA’s his­to­ry, help­ing embed its rep­u­ta­tion as the world’s lead­ing and most respect­ed ener­gy advis­er.

Introducing Unified Environmental Permits in Ukraine

On 27 May, the Round­table on Pre­ven­tion and Con­trol of Indus­tri­al Pol­lu­tion Reform: Intro­duc­tion of Uni­fied Envi­ron­men­tal Per­mits took place in Kyiv, joint­ly organ­ised with the Min­istry of Econ­o­my, Envi­ron­ment and Agri­cul­ture of Ukraine.
