Project News

Within the framework of the project «Constructing bird sanctuaries to develop protected wetlands areas in Zakarpattia» on 24 June, NGO «Ecosphere» held a training seminar for 16 teachers of Mukachevo territorial community. The organization’s specialists presented to teachers a methodology for conducting training sessions with schoolchildren based on the author’s program «Wetlands».

The aim of the seminar was to familiarise teachers with training formats and methods, combining theory with practice.

During the seminar participants discussed:

  • learning styles and importance of organising the learning process in a way that makes it interesting and ensures that all students are involved;
  • methods that can be used to make learning more interesting;
  • the use of game-based approaches during the work with children and implementing environmental education activities.
