Events, Project News

As a forthcoming independent Center of Excellence focused on climate issues, the Ukrainian Climate Office (UCO) actively backs Ukraine’s climate policy initiatives in both national and international arenas.

UCO facilitates the Ukrainian pavilion, hosting side events covering topics such as just transition, decentralized energy supply, and the climate impacts of the ongoing war. Complementing the pavilion, a dedicated website was developed, serving as the primary information hub for the Ukrainian pavilion and overall participation in COP28.

In addition to these efforts, the UCO conducts training sessions for the Ukrainian delegation, focusing on key objectives of COP28, including climate finance, mitigation, and adaptation, and implemented through HEAT GmbH. This comprehensive support aimed to amplify the Ukrainian presence and contributions at COP28.
