This pioneering research uses the CLIMADA model combined with locally collected data to deliver a detailed climate risk assessment for Southern Ukraine. The study identifies where and how adaptation measures deliver the greatest impact—and demonstrates how this innovative, data-driven approach can be scaled up to guide resilient reconstruction across the country.

Join us to explore how climate intelligence and financial insights can shape a safer, more sustainable future for Ukraine.

The event is jointly organized by the Ukrainian Climate Office/C4CA Project and the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. The Capacities for Climate Action (C4CA) project is implemented by GIZ on behalf of the German Government within the framework of the International Climate Initiative (IKI) and co-financed by the European Union.
